What should I consider when shopping for new luggage?

If you’re looking to buy new luggage, you should consider luggage with these features:

• Retractable rollers, rollers will make it easier to make it through the airport. You’ll also want retractable rollers, so the rollers won’t be pulled off.
• Removable straps. Straps make luggage easier to carry, but they can get caught on conveyor belts and either break or damage your luggage.
• A lock, preferably one that doesn’t dangle off the luggage too much.
• Carry-on luggage in a size that will be allowed under the recent more restrictive carry-on size limits.

It depends on the how we negotiated with the provider. Some of our providers require just a room night deposit to hold your room while others require pre-payment at the time of your reservation. Please refer to the amount displayed on the hotel confirmation page to see what your credit card will be charged upon making the reservation. Typically those requiring pre-payment are offering significantly reduced rates.

Non-refundable deposits are periodically required to hold rooms for your arrival and to provide you the lowest rates.

You can make a reservation for someone else using our system. Just make sure you include that person’s name and information as the guest. You can have a different name and address for the guest and for the person paying with their credit card.
